Please read carefully.

If you would like to object to the development proposal you should post/email a submission to Council before Christmas, indicating the relevant development application number and your name and address.

Your objection, must state it is an objection and the specific reasons should be clearly given. The reasons can be detailed or as simple as “Excess traffic in local streets” or “Noise late at night” or “worse parking for shopping centre users”. A list of potential issues is included further down this page.

Council may not specifically acknowledge your letter or email acknowledging receipt of your submission however they will carefully consider it as part of the assessment process.

Submissions may not be confidential.

Submitters must understand that any objection is accepted by Council officers as part of a code assessable process which, under some circumstances, does not prescribe submissions from the community. The inclusion of any issues will be a decision of Council Officers.
